Senior Director

For more than 20 years I’ve been heavily involved in Dutch politics and I can hardly imagine ever wanting to do anything else. I commute from Rotterdam to The Hague every day, motivated by the ideal combination of politics, strategy, current affairs and commerce offered by working at Public Matters. As well as advising on public affairs in the Netherlands, I’m also responsible for coordinating our information and monitoring team.

Personal

Besides my passion for politics, I love spending time with my family. My two young children are bundles of energy and there’s never a dull moment at home. I most enjoy reading Swedish detective novels, which help me stay up to date with my wife’s first language too.
