Trainee
From a young age, I have had a strong interest in societal issues, such as climate change and how to address them. For this reason, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics at Leiden University. During my studies, I explored topics such as campaign strategies and issue ownership of political parties. In my Master’s programme in Crisis & Security Management, questions related to security and crisis management were central – topics that have become increasingly relevant in today’s world.
As a research assistant for “Het Parlementsonderzoek 2025” (Parliamentary Research 2025), I had the unique opportunity to interview members of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. This provided me with valuable insight into The Hague’s political landscape, the functioning of political institutions, and the challenges MPs face in decision-making and democratic accountability.
Personal
In my free time, I enjoy sports, particularly road cycling, running, and swimming. I also enjoy listening to music and exploring art and culture. Additionally, I like cooking and baking for friends and family. Lastly, I am a great animal lover.
