It was during my bachelor’s degree in Public Administration that I developed an interest in public affairs, which brings together my other interests in politics and current affairs. After studying abroad for six months, I decided to take the Master’s degree in Public Administration, where I look from a European and international perspective. While I have been able to develop a lot of theoretical knowledge over the past few years, practical experience was still lacking. It was therefore a logical step for me to do an internship. As a Trainee at Public Matters, I want to learn more about how all steps are taken to achieve good and transparent decision-making.
In my free time, I like to meet up with friends in town or bike with them through the dunes. I am also a big fan of traveling. On weekends I still work as a side job in the hospitality industry, watch Scandinavian or German crime fiction or read history books.
