Trainee
A strong interest in the intersection of politics, history, and societal developments has shaped my academic and professional focus. In particular, I am intrigued by how ideas take shape, how interests align, and how narratives come to influence public debate and decision-making processes.
My Bachelor’s degree in History at Leiden University, complemented by an extracurricular minor in Political Science, provided a solid foundation for analysing societal developments within their broader context and critically assessing sources and stakeholder dynamics. As a member of the FD Student Panel, I contribute articles on current socio-economic issues.
Alongside my studies, experience in communication and organisation was developed through various roles, including as a tour guide, student ambassador for the Veerstichting, and in the hospitality sector.
Personal
Outside of my studies, staying active and social is important to me. Football and piano are regular pursuits, and much of my time is spent with friends—whether in the city or at home. Originally from Arnhem, Leiden has since become home.
