During my studies, I soon realized that I was not only interested in science itself, but just as much in what happens to it once it enters the worlds of politics and business. This interest took concrete shape during my graduation internship at the industry association Hollandbio, where I gained first-hand insight into how lobbying works in the biotech sector. There, I learned that I am especially enthusiastic about the intersection of politics, strategic advice, and science. At Public Matters, I work with clients from a wide range of sectors, from consumer goods and recreation to local government and international business.

Personal

In my free time, I enjoy listening to podcasts and watching YouTube videos about topics such as politics, history, science, and AI. I also enjoy cooking, going on long walks in nature, watching films and series, and regularly making time for a game of chess or a workout at the gym. In addition, I listen to a lot of music, from classical to metal and everything in between.
