I mainly focus on advising clients, for instance providing them with information, explanations and broader context in relation to political processes and developments. My clients operate in a range of sectors, in particular infrastructure, mobility, energy and finance. Given my background, I pay particular attention to opportunities at local government level.
My passion for national and local politics has motivated me to be an active member of a political party. For instance, I sit on the local chapter’s governing committee and helped to write our manifesto for the local elections. When I was a student, my personal affinity with politics and lobbying found an outlet in the University Council and in my role as chair of the umbrella organisation of Leiden student associations (PKvV). In my spare time, my interests are studying old maps, drawing, running, reading and philosophy.
