Annika Versloot

Associate

As an Associate at Public Matters, I work at the intersection of government, business, and society, with a focus on strategic positioning, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. My expertise lies in the agrifood sector, and I also have broad experience in fields such as healthcare, space, and arts and culture. Previously, I was responsible for public affairs and stakeholder relations at FrieslandCampina, the Dutch national government, and sector organizations. Drawing on my background in both international business and the public sector, I support public and private entities in effectively positioning their interests, building support, and activating strategic networks around complex societal challenges.

Personal

In addition to my work in public affairs, I am also active as an artist. My work has been exhibited at Museum Bredius, published in Vogue, and led to collaborations with the production company of Halina Reijn and Carice van Houten. This creative angle gives my approach to public affairs a distinctive edge: I explore issues from unexpected perspectives, where content, imagination, and strategy reinforce one another. Furthermore, I have been actively involved in governance for over ten years, serving as chair and board member in education and in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
