Public Matters Team is strengthened with four new trainees!
Over the next five months, four new trainees will be joining the Public Matters Team: welcome Izaak Mulder, Felix Willemsen, Celeste van der Kamp, and Lukas van Rongen! Public Matters is delighted with their arrival and is confident that their fresh perspectives, experience, and knowledge will be a valuable addition to the team.
About Izaak
Izaak has an academic background in International Studies at Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he further developed his interest in political issues. He gained experience as chairman of the Liberal Student Party in Leiden and as a project manager at the Think Tank StudentenStad. Izaak will be supporting clients in the healthcare and retail sectors.
About Felix
As a historian in the making, trained at Leiden University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Felix has a keen eye for political trends. During his time at government law firm Pels Rijcken, he learned the importance of maintaining contact between politics and business and developed an interest in public affairs. At Public Matters, Felix will focus on the retail and industrial sectors.
About Celeste
During her studies in History and European Union Studies at Leiden University, Celeste developed a strong interest in political dynamics at both national and European levels. With her expertise in this field, she looks forward to supporting clients, particularly in the mobility and tourism sectors.
About Lukas
At the University of Groningen, Lukas built a broad academic background at the intersection of politics and economics, giving him insight into the close interconnection between the two fields. With his knowledge and administrative experience—including his role as a faculty member at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Groningen and a law minor focused on EU technology—he will support clients in the tech sector.
