Three new trainees join Public Matters

03-03-2026

Last month, Public Matters welcomed three new trainees: Job, Vivianne and Sara. Over the next six months, they will immerse themselves in the world of public affairs and gain experience within our team.

Job ten Haaf brings with him a broad economic and historical background, combined with international experience. During his internship at the Dutch Embassy in Washington D.C., he monitored and interpreted political and economic developments in the United States and their impact on the Netherlands. His keen eye for decision-making processes and his ability to analyse and communicate complex developments make him a valuable addition to our team. Job will be working on sector, sector and sector, among other things.

Vivianne Dreteler is interested in social and security issues. She brings her background in International Politics and Crisis & Security Management and her experience as a research assistant for the 2025 Parliamentary Inquiry, which gave her insight into politics and democratic decision-making in The Hague, to her work at Public Matters. Vivianne will be working on sector, sector and sector, among other things.

Sara Korving has been interested in Dutch politics and the way decision-making in The Hague affects everyday life since she was a child. With her background in political science and experience as a strategy consultant, she brings administrative sensitivity and analytical skills to the table. Her interests include local government and youth policy: topics she will be exploring in greater depth in the coming months.

"We warmly welcome Job, Vivianne, and Sara!"
